My goal as a therapist is to help guide people of all ages through their current life experiences. I utilize a strength-based approach, designed to bring my client's strengths to the forefront while encouraging development and processing the more difficult experiences, and feelings, impacting them. I find success utilizing a trauma informed, relational approach. I work exceptionally well with those suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, maladaptive behaviors, and those who don’t really know what’s wrong, but want to figure it out. Therapy can be intimidating to begin! Let’s address it, and build long term coping skills along the way.

I graduated from Michigan State University with a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work and am licensed through the State of Michigan. Providing therapy since 2007 with children, adolescents, adults and families, I've also trained extensively in evidence-based practices emphasizing relationships, behaviors, and recovery from traumatic experiences.

My goal, as a therapist, is to help decrease discomfort in its many forms, and help you gain comfort quickly, putting you at ease. I enjoy meeting new clients and learning about what is important to them. You can expect experience, clinical skills, respect and validation, and most importantly, start feeling better.

I would be honored to work with you to address anxiety about family, work, health, or any other facet of your life that is creating distress. I take my cues from you and what you bring to the sessions to develop helpful strategies to alleviate anxiety.

Anxiety, past trauma, and depression are areas that impact our ability to sleep, eat, and function in the day-to-day roles we find ourselves in. Do you feel you are preoccupied with various areas of your life? So much so that it leaves you feeling anxious, drained, and overwhelmed? If you are feeling anxious you are not alone. There are a variety of ways to address these feelings you are having.

Let us work together to interrupt the cycles you find unhelpful and begin to pave the path to healing and feeling well. We can do this in individual telehealth sessions that you attend from the comfort of your home.

I have 14 years of experience joining with people on their journey of growth and healing. I would be honored to join you in your journey.
